The ideal candidate has 5+ years of UI/UX or product design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Figma.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional UI/UX or product design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and shipped digital products.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and modern design tools.
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of typography, color, layout, accessibility, and interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design projects from concept and discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Translate user needs, business requirements, and product goals into intuitive user experiences.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity designs, and interactive experiences.
  • Develop modern, accessible interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct and incorporate user research, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and leadership throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Create and maintain scalable design systems, reusable components, and design patterns.
  • Define interaction patterns and information architecture for complex products.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Use data, user feedback, and product analytics to identify opportunities for improving UX.
  • Participate in design critiques and mentor other designers.
  • Help establish and improve UX and product design processes as the design organization grows.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing product and design team in San Francisco.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences across our products and platforms. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to transform complex problems into simple, elegant, and user-centered experiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong product thinker and hands‑on designer who can take a project from early discovery and user research through wireframing, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and final implementation.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving complex product problems, has strong attention to detail, and wants to have a meaningful impact on the product experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and shipped digital products.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and modern design tools.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
  • Strong experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs.
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and interaction patterns.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product managers in an Agile product development environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing complex SaaS, enterprise, consumer, fintech, AI, or developer‑focused products.
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems.
  • Experience with UX research, usability testing, and product analytics.
  • Experience designing AI-powered products or AI/LLM interfaces.
  • Experience with conversational interfaces, AI assistants, intelligent workflows, or agentic experiences.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front‑end development concepts.
  • Experience working with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
  • Experience with tools such as FigJam, Adobe Creative Cloud, Maze, UserTesting, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in an early‑stage startup or high‑growth technology company.
  • Experience mentoring junior and mid‑level designers.
