Job summary

PetSafe Brands is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the user experience for connected hardware and IoT products. This individual contributor role requires a strong portfolio and deep experience with embedded devices.

You will partner closely with hardware and software teams, mentor designers, and raise the design craft across the team. The position is based in Knoxville and offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of UI/UX design experience.
• Strong portfolio with IoT/embedded product work.
• Experience partnering with hardware/firmware teams.

Connected IoT consumer products.Lead end-to-end design on complex initiatives, mentor more junior designers, and raise the craft bar across the team.**Profile — Containment Experience Lead**Owns the full experience for our containment and tracking products — physical setup, in-app features, ongoing use. Embedded in engineering, partners closely with hardware teams, shifts into NPD mode when new products enter their domain.**(Requirement)*** Deep experience with connected hardware / IoT consumer products.* Has shipped a hardware product end-to-end (not just an app that talks to hardware). Comfortable designing for setup, pairing, connectivity states, firmware updates.
