Job summary

Mega Cloud Lab in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced L3 UI Developer to design and build scalable, high-performance web applications for a major public-sector initiative. You will collaborate with technical leads, architects, testers, and business analysts to deliver accessible, responsive interfaces.

You will mentor junior developers, drive UI/UX best practices, and ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards while aligning with Agile processes in a hybrid Albany, NY environment.

Qualifications

• 7 years of overall UI development experience and design-pattern knowledge (MVC).
• 2 years in a technical leadership or mentoring role.
• 7 years building web apps with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.

Job Summary

The UI Developer will collaborate with technical leads, architects, testers, and business analysts to craft intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces. You will drive UI/UX best practices, mentor junior developers, and ensure full compliance with state and federal standards (Section 508 / WCAG).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, reusable, and performant UI components across platforms.

• Drive responsive/mobile-first design, SOLID principles, and accessibility compliance (Section 508 / WCAG).

• Translate complex business requirements into seamless UI design and functionality.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and code maintainability through robust code reviews.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers in a collaborative Agile environment.

• Participate across all SDLC phases: requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support.

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• 7 Years of overall experience in UI development and design patterns (including MVC).

• 2 Years of experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role.

• 7 Years hands-on experience building web applications using:

  • Angular Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, XML, JSON, AJAX.

Additional Technical Experience:

• 7 Years in .NET / C# OR Java / Spring Boot for n-tier web/cloud application development.

• 7 Years with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, and SOAP web services.

• 7 Years using Entity Framework or equivalent ORM tools.

• 7 Years writing unit tests using frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.

• 5 Years with distributed version control systems (Git).

• 2 Years designing & implementing CI/CD workflows.

• 2 Years operating in Agile/Scrum environments.
