Spectraforce Technologies in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior UI Developer for a 9-month hybrid engagement (onsite 3 days/week). You will design, implement, and support modern UI solutions using React and other JS frameworks, collaborating with backend, HTML, and design teams.

Qualifications

Job Title: Senior UI Developer

Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid: onsite 3 days per week

Duration: 9 Months

Project Overview:

The Senior UI Developer will represent the Digital Asset Innovation development team and play a key role supporting the digital transformation of assets and asset servicing functions leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud technologies, distributed ledgers, machine learning, cognitive algorithms etc., to position the client to be a key participant in the digital future.

Contractor's Role:

Your primary goal for this job role will be designing, implementing, and supporting modern interactive UI solutions developed in JS frameworks such as ReactJS. Besides, you should be able to coordinate with Backend Developers, HTML coders, and Graphic Designers for a complete web development experience. You should be knowledgeable about packing & deploying apps via CI/CD pipelines to a cloud platform.

To succeed in this job role, you should possess excellent communication skills. You should also have the ability to keep a close eye on details. You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience Level:

Prefer: 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX Developer or Web Developer

Qualifications (must haves):

• Knowledge of website design best practices and UI/UX designs

• Creating aesthetically appealing websites along with a friendly user interface design
• Following established code practices when undertaking user interface development
• Working closely with Designers and Backend Developers to ascertain client needs
• Optimizing websites, programs, and applications for better speed and functionality
• Gathering feedback from clients, technical staff and conducting troubleshooting procedures
• Developing functional documentation and guidelines for other team members
• Creating prototypes for testing website functionality
• Conceptualizing website designs and placements
• Using analytical tools to determine website performance including website speed, load time, etc.
