Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret at Scott Air Force Base, IL. This onsite role requires an active Secret clearance and four days per week on site.

You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networks (Layer 1–2, routing, switching, ST) and manage Unified Communications (Call Manager, Jabber), with security and HA configurations.

Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 annually with full benefits and onsite work at a critical government facility.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Onsite four days per week at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
• 8+ years of enterprise networking and UC experience.
• CCIE Collaboration or CCNP Collaboration preferred.
• Strong skills in Layer 1/Layer 2, routing, switching, and firewall policy management.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor on network, collaboration, and infrastructure strategies.
• Lead design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise networks.
• Manage and support Unified Communications environments (Call Manager, Jabber).
• Develop, implement, and support network security and high-availability configurations.
• Perform lifecycle management: upgrades, patching, maintenance, and optimization.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, escalate, mentor, and support customer success.
