Job summary

TowneBank in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Trust Advisor to partner with Wealth Management and Bank teammates to deliver fiduciary administration and planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.

You will manage client relationships, provide estate planning guidance, and help grow the fiduciary book while ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Broad-based knowledge of estate, trust, and fiduciary administration.
• Ability to review estate, trust and other legal documents to execute client goals and ensure compliance with terms and laws.
• Strong business development skills and ability to grow relationships with affluent clients.

Responsibilities

• Administers fiduciary and investment accounts per governing instruments, including trusts, estates, IRAs, and custody accounts.
• Provides fiduciary and financial planning guidance in estate planning, wealth transfer, and risk solutions.
• Meets with clients to manage relationships, identify opportunities, and respond to requests and inquiries.
• Partners with client teams to grow the business by deepening existing relationships and acquiring new clients.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations, including AML/BSA, and conducts annual reviews.
• Keeps abreast of legal and regulatory changes and adapts processes accordingly.
