Chevy Chase Trust is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to join our Client Services team in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients while supporting day-to-day operations and trust administration.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in trust/wealth management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CRM and trust accounting systems. A Bachelor’s degree and CFTA are preferred, with a client-first mindset and high attention

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of trust/wealth management experience preferred.
• CFTA certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service and clear communication with clients and internal teams.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues with a client-first approach.
• Process cash contributions and distributions with accurate documentation.
• Handle client calls and assist with routine questions and service requests.
• Monitor cash positions and reconcile discrepancies with the team.
• Facilitate stock transfers and ensure timely execution of gifting.
• Process retirement distributions per firm policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize CRM and trust accounting systems for administration and reporting.
• Maintain organized electronic account files and correspondence.
• Support special projects with supervision and high attention to detail.
