Job summary

Keystone Law Group, a West Los Angeles probate specialty firm, seeks a senior attorney (Senior Associate or Senior Counsel) to lead trust and estate litigation matters. You will draft documents, attend hearings, and manage cases from start to finish, including depositions and mediations.

You will advise clients, coordinate with trustees and beneficiaries, and handle conservatorship, guardianship, and probate administrations.

Qualifications

• Interest in probate, trust and estate law.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities

• Research legal issues for trust and estate litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents.
• Handle matters from inception through trial, including depositions and mediations.
• Attend hearings in probate courts regularly.
• Advise clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters.
• Manage conservatorship or guardianship matters through duration.
• Handle probate administrations from initiation to discharge.
• Consult trustees or beneficiaries on trust administration.
• Other assigned projects.
