Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Truck Installation Technician III to lead the installation of service bodies, hitch systems, and other commercial truck accessories. You will work under a Shop Supervisor to ensure safety and quality while assembling and wiring complex equipment.

This role involves welding, hydraulic systems, troubleshooting, and collaborating with peers. Eligible candidates may receive a $2,250 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum).
• 2+ years of electrical wiring.
• Ability to build schematics.
• Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus).
• Independent ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and comply with PPE requirements.
• Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories.
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
• Basic weld experience (helpful).
• Train with other mechanics as needed.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
