Clyde & Co in the United States is seeking an experienced attorney to support our Trial & Defense practice, handling catastrophic injury, bodily injury, complex business and commercial litigation, premises liability, bad faith and fraud, UM/UIM, class actions and mass tort, and trucking matters.

The ideal candidate has substantial litigation and trial experience and demonstrates initiative, organization, and superb written and oral advocacy.

Qualifications

• Arizona Bar admission
• 7+ years of experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage advice and recommendations for clients;
• Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
• Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs and other legal correspondence;
• Attend depositions, hearings and mediations as required.
