Job summary

Karman Space & Defense seeks a Treasury Manager in Mukilteo, WA to lead treasury operations, cash management, forecasting, and control activities. You will partner with finance leaders to ensure liquidity, implement scalable processes, and support strategic decisions across the organization.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting or treasury, GAAP/SOX expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This is a full-time on-site position within a fast-paced defense-focused finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting or treasury.
• Strong hands-on experience with AR, AP, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes in a complex, fast-paced organization.
• Strong organizational and people management skills; excellent communication and ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day treasury operations including cash positioning, forecasting, liquidity management, and bank account administration.
• Develops short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity and optimize cash use.
• Oversees daily cash management activities including cash concentration, fund transfers, payments, and credit card administration.
• Manages monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury processes including reconciliations and close-related deliverables.
• Partners with site controllers and stakeholders to improve cash forecasting and treasury processes.
• Drives KPI compliance and oversees cash collection efforts.
• Establishes SOPs for treasury activities and maintains documentation.
• Collaborates with SOX team to ensure treasury controls are properly designed and operating.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation to support growth.
• Manages corporate credit card and expense reimbursement program via Concur.
