Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Treasury Operations analyst to support the Treasury Operations team during US CST hours. The role focuses on banking portals, confirmations, settlements, static data management, and project support.

You will develop financial models, analyze budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to management. Collaboration with various departments and occasional travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 year analytics experience, or HS Diploma with 4 years in a related role.
• Experience with financial analysis, modeling, profitability analysis, and/or auditing techniques.
• Strong time-management to meet deadlines on multiple projects.
• Ability to analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions and drive improvement.
• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex financial models to support management decisions related to new product development, profitability, capital investments, and regulatory changes.
• Develops recommendations for management decision-making.
• Performs moderate to complex financial analysis and builds applications/tools to fulfill reporting needs.
• Assists in developing long-range financial plans and analyzes operating results.
• May aid in annual budgeting and maintains budgeting templates.
• Researches and builds data tools to improve efficiency and uses SAS when needed.
• Reviews monthly operating results and coordinates with other departments for reconciliations.
• Provides information to management regarding expenditures and costs.
• Responds to RFP questions ensuring data integrity.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides guidance and training on financial modeling and data extraction techniques.
