Job description

Your Job

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Treasury Analyst to join our integrated team. This role combines significant hands‑on ownership of treasury and cash management activities with the opportunity to shape how Treasury operates in the future through data, technology, automation, and process redesign.

Our Team

Our Treasury team supports the organization through liquidity management, banking operations, cash forecasting, intercompany debt management, and other treasury activities. We partner across businesses and capabilities to enable effective decision‑making, maintain strong financial controls, and support business growth.

We believe the people closest to the work are uniquely positioned to improve it. This role will have the opportunity to own critical Treasury processes today while helping challenge, redesign, and build how those processes are performed in the future.

As part of KAES, this role will have the opportunity to leverage and help deploy data, automation, and emerging technologies to improve decision‑making, operational efficiency, controls, and the overall Treasury experience.

What You Will Do

Core Treasury Responsibilities

  • Develop an end-to-end understanding of business cash flows in order to own cash positioning and liquidity management activities, related financial statement presentation, anticipate funding requirements, and proactively recommend actions based on emerging needs, risks, and opportunities
  • Own short- and medium-term cash forecasting activities, analyze forecast accuracy and business drivers, and partner with stakeholders to improve forecast quality and decision‑making
  • Maintain and strengthen Treasury controls and compliance activities while balancing effective risk management with efficient execution and identifying opportunities to prevent exceptions
  • Lead or play a significant role in Treasury projects by defining requirements, designing the future state, and transitioning improvements into sustainable operations

Data, Technology & Process Responsibilities

  • Evaluate end-to-end Treasury processes and identify opportunities to simplify, eliminate, standardize, automate, or fundamentally redesign work
  • Translate complex Treasury and business requirements into scalable process, data, and technology solutions
  • Build and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide actionable visibility into liquidity, cash forecasting, banking activity, and Treasury performance
  • Use data and operational experience to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions rather than recurring workarounds

Decision Making & Ownership Responsibilities

  • Ability to partner across functions to resolve issues or improve business processes
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous or evolving situations and determine when broader alignment or escalation is needed
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs across liquidity, controls, efficiency, and business needs
  • Ability to constructively challenge existing approaches and influence stakeholders toward better outcomes
  • Demonstrated ownership from problem identification through implementation and sustained results
  • Strong root‑cause thinking and the ability to translate data and financial information into actionable business insights
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Professional experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or another analytical business function
  • Experience analyzing financial or operational data and using insights to support decision making
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience working with treasury management systems, ERP systems, banking platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes to improve financial decisions or processes
  • Experience with data visualization, analytics, automation, or generative/agentic AI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Copilot, or similar tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, MIS, or related field
