Job summary

StevenDouglas is partnering with a global hospitality and travel brand to recruit a hands-on Treasury Lead based in the United States. The role offers a seat at the table to shape treasury strategy, modernize operations, and build a team, reporting to finance leadership.

You will own liquidity planning, oversee domestic and international cash operations, manage letters of credit and bonds, and drive policies, controls, and automation across treasury functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• 5–7 years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience with hands-on treasury exposure.
• Experience with liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and bank relationships.
• Knowledge of FX hedging, interest rate risk and financial risk management.
• Familiarity with letters of credit, guarantees, and bonds.
• Experience with treasury technology or ERP integrations and advanced Excel.
• Comfort partnering with senior finance leadership and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, short-term, and long-term liquidity planning to fund operations and capex.
• Oversee domestic and international cash operations, banks, and card programs.
• Manage letters of credit, guarantees, and bonds support operations.
• Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
• Partner with Finance Director to shape treasury strategy for growth.
• Provide analysis on market trends, opportunities, and risks in treasury.
• Lead FX and interest rate risk management, hedging, and compliance.
• Own treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and scenario analysis for leadership.
• Support lender relationships, covenant compliance and reporting.
• Lead treasury tech rollout and automation for efficiency.
• Oversee ERP integrations and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent treasury on high-impact initiatives like expansion and new revenue programs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a Senior Treasury Analyst.

This is a high-visibility role for a treasury professional who wants a real seat at the table: shaping strategy alongside finance leadership, modernizing how treasury operates, and developing a team. It's an ideal next step for a Senior Treasury Analyst or Assistant Treasury Manager ready to lead.

• Own daily, short-term, and long-term liquidity planning so the business is always funded for operating and capital needs
• Oversee domestic and international cash operations, banking partners, merchant processors, and corporate card programs
• Manage letters of credit, guarantees, and bonds that support operations
• Build and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls
• Partner with the Director of Finance & Treasury to shape treasury strategy that supports the company's growth plans
• Bring analysis and recommendations on market trends, treasury opportunities, and emerging risks
• Lead the approach to managing FX, interest rate, and counterparty risk, including hedging activity and compliance
• Own treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and scenario analysis for leadership
• Support lender relationships, covenant compliance, and related reporting
• Lead the rollout of treasury technology and automation to sharpen efficiency and reporting
• Oversee ERP integrations and drive continuous improvement
• Represent treasury on high-impact initiatives, including business expansion and new revenue programs
• Lead, mentor, and develop a Senior Treasury Analyst

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• 5–7 years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience, with hands-on treasury exposure
• Experience with liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and bank relationship management
• Working knowledge of FX and interest rate hedging and financial risk management
• Familiarity with letters of credit, guarantees, and bonds
• Experience with treasury technology or ERP integrations, plus advanced Excel skills
• Comfort partnering with senior finance leadership and mentoring others
