Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Associate in Treasury Accounting in Richmond, VA to lead accounting, reporting, and analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new products and processes. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
At least 1 year of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, or finance.
At least 1 year of experience with Google Office or Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review accounting activities, such as journal entries and reconciliations, and support external SEC and regulatory reports.
Ensure accounting and reporting practices follow corporate policies and procedures.
Perform analysis and reporting of financial performance for stakeholders within deadlines.
Respond to requests from other departments and perform research.
Participate in Treasury projects such as data transformation and process improvement.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on changes.
Provide ad hoc analysis to management.
Support audit, risk and compliance groups when necessary.
