Job summary

Global Guardian is seeking a Travel Risk and Threat Intelligence Analyst for an in-person role in San Mateo, CA, starting January 1, 2027. You will handle daily intelligence reporting, monitor events, and coordinate responses to protect travelers and staff.

The position requires a solid background in security, emergency management, and threat intelligence, with a focus on customer service, risk assessment, and crisis planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2+ years in emergency/crisis management.
• CPP/PSP certifications desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on critical events; assist travelers and stakeholders.
• Assess risks and issue real-time threat alerts.
• Track employee locations and ensure team safety.
• Evaluate travel options to reduce risk.
• Maintain data for security systems and escalations.
• Coordinate mass communications to stakeholders.
• Monitor global security trends and alerts.
• Consult on crisis response and evacuation plans.
• Liaise with third-party security providers and law enforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
