A global engineering consultancy is seeking a transportation Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in designing and rehabilitating transportation structures. The role involves preparing design calculations, drawings, and coordinating with clients. Candidates must be licensed as Professional Engineers in California and have a strong background in relevant engineering design codes. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design for bridges and infrastructure.
Previous experience on California High Speed Rail Projects is a plus.
Experience with inspection and rehabilitation of existing structures is beneficial.
Responsibilities
Prepare design calculations, drawings, and details for various transportation projects.
Assist with client coordination including deliveries and review comments.
Review shop drawings produced by fabricators and coordinate with design team.
Skills
Professional Engineer License in California
Proficient in steel, masonry, timber and concrete design
Proficiency in Structural Analysis software (SAP 2000, CsiBridge)
Attention to detail
