Job summary

Transportation Security Administration in Fort Peck, MT seeks Supervisory Transportation Security Officers to lead daily screening operations. You will supervise officers, oversee passenger and baggage screening, and coordinate staffing as needed.

The role requires sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to lead during routine and security incidents. This is a full-time, on-site federal position with potential overtime and shift variation.

Qualifications

At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
At least six months of experience as a work leader, team leader, or supervisor.
Must meet pay-band level and eligibility requirements for TSA vacancies.

Responsibilities

Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
Oversee passenger screening, baggage screening, or cargo operations as assigned.
Assign work, set priorities, and rotate staffing to manage coverage.
Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and operational info.
Review performance and provide coaching and guidance to staff.
Approve leave and address routine workplace concerns.
Respond to security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies.
Prepare briefings, logs, and management communications.
