Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers
• Oversee passenger, carry-on bag, checked bag, or cargo-screening operations
• Assign work and coordinate staffing/coverage
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and information
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff on performance and conduct
• Approve leave and address routine workplace concerns
• Respond to security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies
• Prepare operational briefings and incident reports
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership
• Recommend improvements to screening procedures and staffing plans
