Job summary

Transportation Security Administration in Bayview, Idaho is seeking Supervisory Transportation Security Officers to lead screening operations at assigned checkpoints. The role requires supervising Officers, coordinating staffing, and making security-based decisions using TSA procedures.

Salary ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per hour with full-time appointment. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, or overtime depending on vacancy and schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• At least six months of experience as a work leader, team leader, or supervisor.
• Current TSA or related federal experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger, carry-on baggage, checked baggage, or cargo-screening operations.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and coordinate rotations and coverage.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and professional judgment.
• Review performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
