Job summary

Insight Global in Michigan seeks an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead MDOT and local agency projects from planning through design delivery. You will serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships while overseeing project scope, budget, schedule, and quality.

You will direct multi-discipline teams and support business development efforts, including proposals and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 10–15 years of roadway/transportation experience.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with MDOT Plusses is preferred.
• Project management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main client contact and lead meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage MDOT and local agency projects from kickoff through design delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams (roadway, traffic, drainage, etc.) to deliver high-quality work.
• Monitor budgets, staffing, schedules, and forecasts; proactively address risks or issues.
• Review and approve plans, reports, and deliverables to meet quality and client expectations.
• Support proposals, client development, and collaborate with accounting on billing and project financials.
