Job summary

Muller Engineering Company is seeking a Transportation Planning Project Manager to support our transportation and traffic practices in Colorado. The role focuses on corridor plans, Safe Streets for All plans, road safety audits, and active transportation planning with potential expansion into regional planning.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on planner capable of supporting existing projects and helping market new planning services to Muller’s client base.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in transportation planning.
Experience with road safety audits and SS4A planning.
Project leadership and project management experience.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, civil engineering, transportation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of the Colorado transportation professional services market.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding internal and external client service.
Lead planning studies, report prep, and stakeholder engagement.
Market transportation planning services and assist with proposals/interviews.
Apply planning knowledge to meet client needs across projects.
Lead multidisciplinary teams from concept to completion.
Mentor and train junior staff.
