Origin Design is seeking an Experienced Transportation and/or Municipal Civil Engineer to lead municipal and county projects from Dubuque or Davenport, IA. The role combines design, project management, and client coordination for DOT and local funded infrastructure projects, including trails, roads, and accessibility upgrades.

The candidate will oversee planning, design, and contract documentation while advancing client relationships and business development within a growing team.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 4+ years of practical experience in transportation and/or municipal design.
• Current licensure as a Professional Engineer in Iowa and/or Wisconsin, or ability to become registered.

Responsabilidades

• Be the project manager, designer, or technical expert on completing projects helping clients with their transportation and municipal needs.
• Consult with county and municipal clients to understand funding sources and deliver positive results.
• Develop relationships and be responsible for building new client relationships and business.
• Coordinate with the DOT and COGs to navigate funding and project processes.
• Develop project plans, contract documents, and perform transportation and/or municipal design tasks.
• Ensure completeness of design related forms and reports.
