Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of transportation-related experience with one additional year in supervision.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and principles, management, and transportation planning.
• Certified General Appraiser or Licensed Real Estate Appraiser preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, and motivate staff to ensure on-time performance.
• Plan, organize and manage the work of the unit to meet agency requirements.
• Develop and manage budgets for the assigned unit and ensure expenses align with budget.
• Represent the department in contacts with the public and public officials, addressing questions and resolving complaints.
