Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer with a passion for shaping transportation infrastructure. The role involves leading traffic planning and design tasks, with opportunities to make a positive impact on communities. You will work within a collaborative team and may operate from our Plano or Fort Worth locations, or remotely in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, Texas.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering license in Texas, alongside over 10 years of traffic engineering experience. A traditional benefits package is offered including health care and performance-based bonuses.

Senior Transportation Engineer – Traffic Technology

Our Traffic/Technology Team is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure. Your passion for collaborative work and commitment to positively affecting communities will drive you to lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects. You'll have the unique opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the growth of our fast growing office.

This position is available in‑office at our Plano or Fort Worth, Texas locations, or remotely for candidates based in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Local industry knowledge and experience, preferred.
