Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Office Chief of Design a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the incumbent supervises a Project Design branch. The branch consists of multiple Design engineers responsible for the production of project study reports, project reports, and contract plans for various types of transportation facilities including, but not limited to, freeway, expressway, and conventional highways. Travel is required. PE registration is required.

For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
