Job Description
AKS’ public works team in Tualatin, Oregon, is looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to help us grow our transportation project delivery group. This position offers an opportunity to lead and support transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Northwest region, focusing on strategic business development. Your technical expertise in transportation design and leadership will be vital as we expand our company and maintain client relationships. We empower our staff with resources to pursue roadway project opportunities. This role is ideal for a registered professional capable of leading transportation project design and delivery, collaborating with surveyors, scientists, engineers, and construction teams. The senior transportation engineer will manage tasks for roadway and multimodal projects supporting State DOTs, Counties, Cities, and municipalities. The role may include serving as Project Manager or Engineer, interfacing with clients, and mentoring staff. Responsibilities include:
