What we’re looking for: A mid-to-senior-level transportation engineer to lead the design and delivery of multimodal transportation projects, serving both as a technical and project leader within our team. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring strong engineering judgment and leadership to our projects, take ownership of technical work and deliverables, and mentor and support other members of the team, while working comfortably across planning, design, public engagement, and implementation.
The role will support local municipalities and other government, non-profit, and private sector clients to design and deliver safety, accessibility, and public space projects. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and delivering multi-modal transportation projects, with a particular focus on improving conditions for people walking, bicycling, and taking transit.
We are looking for a collaborative leader who is comfortable working independently, takes initiative, brings strong engineering judgment to complex problems, and enjoys helping others grow. This person will play an important role in strengthening Street Plans’ engineering capabilities and supporting the development of junior and mid-level staff.
Location: Miami, New York, or San Francisco preferred. We are open to candidates in other locations who are a strong fit for the role and can work effectively with our distributed team.
