Neel-Schaffer seeks a Senior Transportation/Roadway Designer for our Atlanta, GA location. The ideal candidate will design highway corridors, roadway widening, and intersection improvements for GDOT, bringing 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer, preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive transportation/roadway design experience on transportation projects.
• Proficient in OpenRoads Designer including geometry design, corridor modeling, template creation, and plan production.
• Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ORD.
• Familiar with GDOT Standards and Design Policy Manuals (Roadway DPM, EDG, PPG), AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, MUTCD, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license.
