MBP is seeking an experienced NCDOT Transportation Construction Inspector to monitor transportation construction projects across North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have inspection experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to provide guidance to junior technicians.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with plans, preparing project records, and training junior inspectors. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $30.00 to $45.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of relevant construction work experience.
• Ability to perform duties without supervision.
• Experience in federal, municipal, transportation, ports, or marina projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor roadway and structure construction for compliance.
• Provide inspection and quality assurance on-site.
• Prepare and maintain project records and documentation.
