The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in civil engineering or construction management and 15+ years of inspection experience, plus strong independent field work skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 15+ years of progressively complex construction inspection experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work effectively with client representatives, contractors, the public, peers and subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Leads and performs complex construction inspection and observation assignments on projects of all sizes.
• Monitors and manages contractor progress in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinates the required materials, samples, and testing and maintains accurate daily work reports.
• Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.
• Resolves field construction issues and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
• Supervises and mentors less experienced inspectors on the team.
