Job summary

Hertrich Elkton Ford is seeking experienced automotive technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles, including transmission work. Join a busy service department with access to the latest diagnostic tools and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required or willingness to obtain them.
• Automotive diagnostics experience required.
• Strong work ethic and customer service mindset.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles (electrical, engine, suspension, brakes, emissions).
• Perform transmission repair and replacement efficiently and accurately.
• Use diagnostic equipment and shop tools safely.
• Perform routine inspections, services, and lubrication.
• Repair automobiles and light/heavy-duty trucks.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
