Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
• Eight years of related work experience or six years with a postgraduate degree.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data for power-flow models to analyze transmission system performance.
• Analyze transmission performance using steady state and dynamic power-flow models.
• Lead studies to ensure compliance with NERC and ERCOT standards.
• Participate in ERCOT Working Groups: Steady State, Dynamics, and Planning.
• Prepare project justification documents for capital improvements and present to PEC/ERCOT groups.
• Review and coordinate transmission planning standards and designs.
• Coordinate with developers, customers, and PEC staff on load/generation interconnections.
