Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for Traffic Infrastructure ASE in Seattle, WA.

You will be the primary technical partner for engineering teams integrating with Apple’s Traffic products, translating complex networking needs into concrete integration plans and guiding execution. You will work with customer teams to understand traffic architecture, design ingress/egress paths, and advise on Envoy and service mesh deployments such as Istio or Linkerd, ensuring scalable, reliable

Qualifications

Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, TLS/mTLS).
Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes ingress/egress patterns.
Working knowledge of Envoy and service mesh concepts (Istio/Linkerd).
Strong ability to gather requirements from customers and translate ambiguity into a clear technical plan.
Excellent written and verbal communication with engineers.

Responsibilities

Partner with customer engineering teams to gather traffic and service-m mesh requirements.
Assess customer Kubernetes deployments and design ingress/egress integration patterns.
Advise on Envoy configuration and mesh adoption best practices.
Identify gaps between requirements and Traffic product capabilities and work with engineering to close them.
Produce clear technical designs, migration plans, and documentation for customers.
