  • Serve as technical lead on mid to large scale traffic operations tasks, ensuring quality control and alignment with MUTCD, AASHTO, ITD, and applicable local agency standards
  • Prepare traffic studies, technical reports, signal timing documentation, and operational recommendations from project kickoff through implementation
  • Support planning, design, and implementation of operational improvements in coordination with design and ITS teams
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with clients, including ITD, LHTAC, ACHD, and local municipalities such as Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and other Treasure Valley agencies
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff to deliver successful transportation projects
  • Manage assignments, workloads, and training or mentoring of traffic operations staff
  • Coordinate with other managers and discipline leads to share resources and align project efforts
  • Support business development, client relationships, and long-term program delivery when applicable
