Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Senior Traffic Engineer in Lone Tree, Colorado, with relocation options to other U.S. locations.

You will lead and mentor engineers/designers, collaborate across design centers, and deliver traffic design for design/build projects across North America. The role requires 10+ years of transportation project experience, a PE license (PTOE recommended), and expertise in multiple traffic subdisciplines; ORD/AutoCAD/Civil

Qualifications

10+ years of transportation project experience in traffic design functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering; traffic emphasis desirable.
Professional Engineer licensure required; PTOE recommended.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and oversee junior staff.
Direct traffic subdisciplines: operations, signal design, ITS, signing.
Coordinate with multiple design teams across North America.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
Lead design reviews and ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
Sign and seal final design for traffic elements.
