Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a senior attorney with expertise in trademark law for our Pittsburgh, PA office. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across industries, focusing on trademark registration, branding, enforcement, and litigation.

Ideal candidates have 9–15 years of experience in trademark law, a strong background in prosecution and enforcement, and excellent writing and research skills. JD and state bar admission required.

Qualifications

• JD required with admission to the bar in the relevant state.
• Extensive experience in trademark law and related litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the trademark application process, including searches and filings with USPTO.
• Respond to office actions and coordinate with clients on registration issues.
• Develop and manage global trademark portfolio strategies and international applications.
• Implement enforcement strategies and address infringement issues.
• Draft cease-and-desist letters and negotiate settlements.
• Assist in trademark litigation, including research and pleadings preparation.
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex cases.
• Work with other attorneys to ensure cohesive trademark strategies and client meetings.
