We’re recruiting on behalf of a globally renowned scientific consultancy at the forefront of chemical regulatory compliance and with strong ties to the industry, both in the US and in the EU and APAC markets.

With offices in Washington,D.C., the UK, mainland Europe and Asia, the firm offers comprehensive support for clients across industrial, agricultural, biobased, and specialty chemicals sectors.

Their teams are highly proficient experts in the regulation of substances under TSCA, FIFRA, FQPA, REACH, and more. And we are looking for an additional scientist to join their team!

As they continue to expand, our client is looking for an experienced Regulatory Toxicologist to join their collaborative team of scientists, attorneys, and policy professionals.

This is a rare opportunity to work on high-stakes regulatory projects in a flexible, intellectually stimulating environment as you'll contribute to strategic client engagements, apply advanced toxicological expertise, and help shape risk assessment policy across the U.S. and beyond.

The Opportunity can either be on a hybrid basis in Washington or Remotely with the occasional trip to D.C.

Key Missions

  • Lead or support the preparation of scientifically robust human health and ecological risk assessments under TSCA, FIFRA, FQPA, and other statutes.
  • Analyze toxicological and environmental data to support regulatory submissions and develop hazard communication strategies.
  • Design or review environmental and human health studies conducted under GLP and regulatory guidelines.
  • Advise clients on compliance strategies, exposure mitigation, and regulatory positioning.
  • Monitor regulatory studies and synthesize findings into actionable scientific reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with consultants, attorneys, and clients to meet complex regulatory objectives.
  • Contribute to international submissions, including those under EU REACH

Your Profile

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in Toxicology, Biology, Public Health, or related field.
  • 7 to 10 years+ of experience in the specific field of regulatory toxicology on US Chemical Regulatory Frameworks, with expertise in EU-REACH highly valuable
  • DABT certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in human health and ecological risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in exposure modeling tools and designing or evaluating studies per GLP standards.
  • Familiarity with U.S. chemical regulations (TSCA, FIFRA) and ideally EU REACH.
