Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Transportation Analyst to join the North Region. You will perform traffic revenue and demand modeling for toll agencies, analyze large data sets, manage project tasks, and mentor junior staff.

You’ll coordinate technical content, ensure QA/QC, and collaborate with clients to deliver high‑quality studies. Travel up to 10% or less may be required, with opportunities across US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or approved certification in a related field.
• Or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience with Master's degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies in the North Region.
• Execute Advanced Data Analysis on large datasets for planning projects.
• Oversee task management and QA/QC procedures on projects.
• Coordinate and manage technical content, driving the technical vision and skills mix.
• Mentor junior staff with thorough editing of drafts and deliverables.
