Job summary

RF-SMART is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Consultant for its Transportation Management System (TMS). You will own the full implementation lifecycle, from design and configuration to go-live and post-launch support, interfacing directly with customers and internal teams.

You will diagnose operational gaps, translate them into actionable designs, and act as a trusted advisor across freight management, visibility, and carrier integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics operations, or supply chain.
• Hands-on experience with TMS platforms and transportation systems including freight visibility tools, EDI connectivity, and carrier integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations independently without losing momentum on any of them.
• Must be located in Jacksonville, FL.
• Ability to travel 30% or more, with higher frequency during launch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full implementation lifecycle as the primary customer contact—from design through go-live.
• Develop and deliver detailed implementation plans aligning internal teams and customers.
• Diagnose and resolve configuration and data issues to protect timelines.
• Coordinate milestones from functional specs to post-launch support.
• Stay engaged post go-live to ensure customer success with the new product.
• Build ongoing customer relationships and surface product improvements from field insights.
• Collaborate with Sales on new opportunities with implementation credibility.
