Job summary

Cambria Title seeks a seasoned Real Estate Closer to join our team in the metro area. You will collaborate with lenders and realtors to assemble, review and prepare closing documents, and ensure all title, disbursement and closing activities comply with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of work experience in all types of closings (refinance, purchase, and real estate transactions).
  • Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, SoftPro.
  • Strong communication and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, review, and prepare closing documents with lenders and realtors.
  • Ensure all title, disbursement and closing activities adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Read title commitments and address questions prior to closing.
  • Develop positive relationships with real estate clients and customers and provide communication.
  • Adhere to company and regulatory policies.
  • Represent Cambria Title with professional customer service.
  • Maintain documentation on progress and disposition of files.
  • Manage progress of title work and correct issues to keep files accurate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively and closely with lenders and realtors to assemble, review, organize, prepare and review relevant documentation for closing.
  • Ensure all title, disbursement and closing activities adhere to federal, state, and underwriting policies and regulations.
  • Read and understand title commitments and address, solve any questions or concerns prior to closing.
  • Develop positive working relationships with real estate clients and customers as well as provide frequent communication.
  • Ensure all company and regulatory policies are followed.
  • Represent Cambria Title professionally while providing a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation on progress and disposition of files.
  • Manage progress of the title work and facilitate corrections or issues to help maintain accuracy of files throughout the closing process.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in preparing necessary documents required for closing.
  • Working knowledge of advanced concepts, terms, practices and procedures of the title industry and closing process.
  • High attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
  • Strong sense of urgency, professional demeanor and top-notch customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
  • Flexibility to attend closings outside the office.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Travel Requirements: Flexibility to work at various locations in the metro.

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00 per hour with a monthly commission based on closing volume. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
