Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Advanced TIDES Engineer to lead test environments across hardware, firmware, and software. You will architect and evolve spacecraft test infrastructure supporting payload development, verification, production testing, and sustainment in a dynamic aerospace setting.

You will drive cross-disciplinary initiatives, guide architecting efforts, and mentor teams while advancing reusable, scalable test solutions aligned with program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related technical field with extensive experience.
• Demonstrated systems engineering, test environment design, and integration experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional hardware, software, and firmware teams.
• Strong background in requirements traceability and verification planning.
• Hands-on with lab networks, servers, and automated test stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination across system test environment hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Architect, integrate, verify, and deploy spacecraft test environments.
• Translate payload and program requirements into test capabilities and evidence plans.
• Develop test system packages, interfaces, racks, cables, and calibration plans.
• Coordinate FPGA interfaces, data paths, and timing distribution.
• Support automated test infrastructure deployment and data management.
