Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior / Staff Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead the hacks category. You will own the end-to-end response to major hacks, triage incidents, coordinate across teams, and communicate with customers.

You will also design AI-assisted workflows to automate analysis and publish technical insights. You will manage contractors or a small team, build scalable attribution systems, and ensure comprehensive, accurate hack data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in blockchain intelligence, crypto investigations, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, or closely related field.
• Owned incident response in high-stakes environments (exchange, security firm, incident response, CTI team).
• Strong blockchain tracing across BTC, EVM, TRON, Solana, including bridges and cross-chain swaps.
• Understanding of how DeFi, bridge, and exchange exploits work and attacker behavior post-theft.
• Applied AI fluency and experience building AI-assisted workflows in daily analysis.

Responsibilities

• Take command when a big hack breaks and act as a leader.
• Run the response: triage, coordination across teams, internal and customer communications, and the incident report afterwards.
• Get every major hack into TRM fast and visible to customers within hours of credible public reports.
• Keep TRM's hack data complete and accurate with entity, addresses, date, amount, and hack type.
• Follow the money at scale by designing attribution downstream with Data Science and Engineering.
• Build the machine with AI to automate key parts of hacks analysis while maintaining human quality control.
• Explain how it happened by root-causing major hacks and publishing in-depth technical analyses.
• See the next one coming by designing approaches to spot vulnerable contracts before exploitation.
