Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer in Greenbelt, MD to enhance engineering excellence on contracts. The successful candidate will apply established engineering standards to spacecraft thermal design and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry with specific expertise in thermal/fluid systems.
• Proven technical team leadership experience and participation in spacecraft project reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to lead the development of thermal models for spacecraft, payloads, and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction in developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Perform instrument-level and spacecraft-level thermal design, modeling, and analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project requirements are met.
