Job summary

EPTA Group in Columbus, GA is seeking a Thermal Engineer to lead thermal design for a commercial refrigerator. You will apply CFD and 1D/2D modeling, perform tests in the lab, and collaborate with vendors to optimize manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years experience or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Strong background in thermal/fluid flow design and analysis.
• Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Hands-on engineering and thermal testing in lab settings with test engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development and thermal design for a commercial refrigerator.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize designs.
• Apply DFA/DFM principles to improve manufacturability.
• Perform hand calculations and 1D/2D thermal modeling.
