Thermal Engineers own the full development life cycle from conceptual design through prototyping, lab and field testing, and operational deployment, ensuring high-performance, resilient systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.
We are looking for a Senior Thermal Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA to own the thermal management of expeditionary AI/HPC data centers—air-transportable, modular compute and command-and-control infrastructure built to run at forward operating locations. You will apply a deep understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and HVAC to keep high-density compute running reliably in austere environments with extreme temperatures and limited power.

US Salary Range: $146,000 – $194,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
