Job summary

Vast invites applications for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Thermal Controls Systems, to support the development of environmental and thermal control hardware for Haven Station programs. The role reports to the Manager, TCS Hardware and is based in Long Beach, CA, full-time and exempt.

The successful candidate will lead manufacturing process design, supplier collaboration, and hands-on assembly/testing of components, ensuring compliance with engineering specs and industry standards, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or environmental and thermal control preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software for reviewing designs and creating manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and onboard equipment for environmental and thermal control systems.
• Design, fabricate, and activate ground support equipment and test articles for pressurized ground systems.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing and testing equipment including high-pressure systems and data/control systems.
