Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Testing Analyst to lead testing strategy for business systems, document requirements, and execute test plans. The role requires independent work and collaboration with product teams in a regulated banking environment.

The Senior Testing Analyst will handle complex tasks and lead testing strategy for business systems. The position requires independent work to document business requirements, develop test strategies, and execute test plans.
Develop and maintain testing strategy for the Bank based on industry standard Quality Assurance best practices. Leads the initiative to expand and transform Quality Assurance processes based on the testing strategy. Designs and executes detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the software meets requirements; identify problems and defects that should be corrected prior to implementation; ensure that the system delivers the required specifications; verify that the system responds in an acceptable manner within the Bank's network environment; perform regression testing to verify that all pre-existing code still works properly; utilize testing tools as necessary for defect tracking, automated testing, and simulated load testing. Coordinate with the infrastructure team to manage test environments and configurations. Participates as the members of scrum product teams. Creates and provide input to project plans as they pertain to testing requirements. Leads facilitated meetings with product teams and subject matter experts and ensure output is documented. Ensures preparation of testing documentation as required. Provide expertise on the tools for automation required for testing. Adhere to practices that maintain traceability from User stories to defects and resolutions. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations. Works with project manager / program manager to help them in effort and cost estimation activity, project scheduling and planning and identifying risks and issues with project and suggesting mitigation alternatives. Coach and inspire others into adopting a test-driven mindset. Ensure that test conditions and test scripts are created and validated for user acceptance testing. Supports user acceptance testing. When performing business analyst functions ensure that the system requirements or user stories and acceptance criteria are planned for, elicited, analyzed, validated, documented and reviewed. Conducts tests utilizing AI tools and technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems / business administration or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred. Seven or more years of experience in information systems, with an emphasis on the requirements of life cycle, development, and testing. Seven or more years of experience leading testing efforts. Knowledge of requirements analysis techniques. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of current best practices, methodologies, standards, and approaches to testing. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Technology Competency: Automated test scripting utilizing tools such as Selenium AI and API based testing is a plus. Perform vulnerability testing utilizing tools such as Qualys. Defect tracking software utilizing tools such as VersionOne. Simulated load testing utilizing tools such as JMeter. Experience with incorporating testing efforts with DevSecOps pipeline. Practical experience in Agile SDLC concepts. MS Office expertise. Familiarity with the following: SAFe concepts. Continuous Integration tools such as GitActions. Oracle Database and PLSQL objects. GitHub and ability to execute deployment scripts. Techniques Competency: Use case description and modeling, or “story” descriptions. Conversion of use cases to test scripts. Requirements management and traceability. Data analysis. Manual test case execution. Automated test case execution. Regression testing.
