Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Systems Principal Execution Lead to join the Tucson, AZ onsite team. You will lead large work packages, ensure execution health, risk burndown, and EV schedule/cost drivers, and mentor engineers. A DoD Secret clearance is required and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CAMs/PMO, integration readiness, and strong technical leadership to deliver mission-critical test systems across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting or leading Test Systems Development (hardware/software, integration, V&V).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full test-system lifecycle (design, development, integration, sell-off).
• Drive execution health, risk burndown, supplier readiness, and integration readiness.
• Coordinate with CAMs and PMO/IPT leadership to ensure plans and milestones remain executable.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues using scopes, analyzers, and diagnostics; improve workflows.
