Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Senior Test Lead to drive evaluation, testing, and rollout of an enterprise AI governance platform. You will translate requirements into detailed test plans, execute cycles, manage defects, and report on platform quality and readiness in collaboration with technical teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios, ensuring requirements traceability.
• Plan, execute, and document testing activities across platform evaluation, implementation, and rollout phases.
• Perform functional, integration, installation, performance, and security testing as applicable.
• Review and validate vendor-provided assessments against defined requirements, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risks.
• Support endpoint installation and deployment testing within the pilot user group.
• Verify core AI governance capabilities, including runtime controls, risk and impact assessments, monitoring, and observability.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate testing dependencies, resources, and milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of the team's Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collect structured feedback, and help assess user readiness and platform usability.
• Verify the completeness and reliability of audit trails, system logs, and compliance reporting outputs.
• Prepare concise QA status reports covering test progress, defect trends, risks, and overall platform readiness for relevant stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the platform meets defined functional, technical, security, and compliance requirements throughout the testing and implementation lifecycle. Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external technology partners, you will translate requirements into structured test scenarios, execute test cycles, manage defects, and provide clear, evidence-based reporting on platform quality and readiness. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably involving enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, or technology evaluations.
• Proven experience developing test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with test execution, requirements traceability, defect management, and test documentation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured, evidence-based approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confidence working with cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Ability to communicate testing progress, risks, and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience testing AI-enabled or SaaS platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where requirements and priorities may evolve.
• Nice to HaveExposure to AI/ML systems, AI governance, or model risk management.
• Familiarity with recognized AI governance frameworks and responsible AI principles.
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or financial services.
• Experience testing software deployed across distributed endpoints or large user populations.
• Experience supporting vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, or enterprise technology rollouts.
• Knowledge of auditability, compliance evidence, and security testing practices.
• Experience working in a small, cross-functional team with evolving processes and priorities.
